Yamato Asia first opened its Myanmar branch office in 2015, to study the market and decide on a partnership with Aye International. Its business will focus on forwarding (air, sea, land), home relocation (overseas), and warehousing. The firm said its establishment of a JV will provide a mix of logistics solutions, including import-export with Japan and other countries, as well as import-export forwarding services, home relocation, and cross-border truck transportation. The capital is $500,000, with the two shareholders their share in keeping with the 80-20 ownership.
