Vivablast is a foreign-owned company providing surface preparation, HP/UHP water jetting, protective coating, passive fire protection, insulation and access systems. It works in a number of countries in Southeast Asia, providing solutions for industries including oil & gas, power & utilities, marine and manufacturing industries. Operating for over 20 years, it now has a presence in Myanmar as well as Thailand and Malaysia. The firm started in Vietnam in 1994. The company has done work for a number of local firms, including Shwe Taung Group, Min Dhamma and Ah Yone Oo (Dawn) As of September 2017, the company has completed blasting and painting on site for JFE, J&M and TOYO construction, at Thilawa SEZ. Vivablast is also certified applicators for Dr Fixit, Penetron and Belzona products, and it started distribution of Belzona-branded products, as well as of abrasive material for blasting such as “Blastrite”, as of December 2017.

February 2019 Vivablast has been awarded to install HDPE Geomembrane for foundations of fuel tanks at Denko Thilawa Terminal under TTCL. They have completed material handling, pre testing, soil leveling, soil cleaning prior to installation, hot air welding and seaming of the membrane for 10 big fuel tanks. May 2019 As of 31 May 2019, Vivablast (Myanmar) has successfully completed its first offshore project for the internal re coating of four sea strainers at Zawtica platform with Belzona products. The project included surface preparation, application of Belzona 1111 for resurfacing followed by application of two coats of Belzona 1331 for erosion and corrosion protection.
